Jody Schoger, co-founder of this amazing community, has now entered hospice care. The following was posted by her sister Megan McCready on Facebook today and is re-posted here with her permission:

Dear friends: my sister, Jody Schoger, is now in hospice care at home. There is no medical treatment available for her, and her liver is failing. She is comfortable and her hospice care has been excellent. Many of you have been friends of hers here on FB and Twitter, and you will be very distressed at this news. We (her husband, Steve, and I) understand. Just the same, we ask that you respect our desire for space and time to be with Jody now. If you would like to send a card, please message me and I will send her mailing address; that would be most welcome. We absolutely feel your love and prayers, and we are deeply grateful.
